The Carnegie Lecture Hall
The Carnegie Lecture Hall is in the large Carnegie Institute building also home to the Carnegie Museums, Carnegie Music Hall, and main Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. The entrance to the Lecture Hall is on Schenley Drive around the corner from the Library , just before the bridge leading to Schenley Park / Phipps Conservatory / Carnegie Mellon University. Look for a flight of stone steps leading up to large wooden doors.
It’s helpful to put the entrance to the parking lot in your GPS (corner of Forbes & Craig, 15213).
Access the Carnegie Museum parking lot from Forbes Avenue and South Craig Street. Find parking pay stations near the main entrance admissions desk or Portal Entry. Cash and credit cards are accepted at pay stations. Credit cards only are accepted at the exit gate. For more information, please call (412) 622-3131. On-street parking is also available nearby.
Near the parking garage elevators, there is a ramp / sidewalk that leads around the building to the main entrance of the Lecture Hall.
Handicapped access to the Lecture Hall is through the Portal Entrance in the museum parking lot. Please stop by the security office on the left side of the Portal Entrance to be escorted to the Lecture Hall.
