Calliope is proud to once again to participate in the Craftsman Guild’s A Fair in the Park!
Celebrate Pittsburgh’s fine artisans at the 47th Annual A Fair in the Park at Mellon Park in Shadyside. Shop the works of more than 100 artisans from Pittsburgh and across the country on Friday, September 8th from 1 – 7 pm; Saturday, September 9th from 10 am – 7 pm; and Sunday, September 10th from 10 am – 5 pm.
Enjoy live music, food from Pittsburgh’s finest food trucks, art demonstrations, a fun kid’s area and more. Visit afairinthepark.org to learn more about the weekend’s musicians and activities. A Fair in the Park is artist led and presented by the Craftsmen’s Guild of Pittsburgh.
About the Guild:
The Craftsmen’s Guild of Pittsburgh was founded in 1944 and has a regional membership that spans a diverse and talented array of over 100 skilled artists and craftspeople. The mission of the Guild is to preserve excellence in craftsmanship and artistry and is strongly dedicated to education and mentoring in the arts community.
A Fair in the Park is one of Pittsburgh’s premier arts festivals and features members of the Guild as well as exhibiting artists from around the country.

1:15-2:00 Ronni Weiss
Ronni Weiss has been called “the diminutive woman with the monumental voice” by pianist, composer, and arranger Ian Kane and “the little lady with the big voice” by Roger Barbour, trumpet and flugelhorn player.
2:45-3:30 Daryl Shawn
Daryl Shawn blends the guitar chops of flamenco and classical with a modern songwriter’s sensibility and the energy of rock.
4:15-5:00 Fire & Ice
Paul Eisert and Joan Papalia-Eisert have performed together for thirty-four years as the duo, Fire and Ice.
Their repertoire includes classic pop/rock, oldies, and originals.
5:45-6:30 Heather Kropf
Heather Kropf has been a musician in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for almost two decades, earning acclaim for her evocative singing and songwriting. “Beautifully detailed songs” – Year in Review, WYEP 91.3 FM
