Sam Adioetomo is an enraptured shape note singer hailing from Michigan. She first discovered The Sacred Harp in 2009 while living in Bloomington, Indiana, and has since roamed around North America to sing with “fasola folk” in all sorts of fascinating historic and religious venues. Sam twice attended “singing school” at Camp Fasola in Alabama and is eager to share what she’s learned with anyone curious about this rich community singing tradition. In the rare instances she is not singing shape note, she can be found playing banjo and singing with her local bluegrass(ish) band, City Holler.
