Banjo II: Clawhammer

No class on April 22.

This is a great class for anyone who has learned the basic clawhammer (frailing) technique and would like to continue the journey of playing clawhammer banjo. During the classes, we will work on improving and expanding the right-hand frailing techniques while also working on left-hand techniques and chords. We will continue as in the clawhammer I class to learn tunes by listening, but tab will also be provided. We will begin to learn how to play more melodic tunes and tunes with rhythmic variations. This class should improve and expand your clawhammer banjo techniques, build your repertoire, and increase your knowledge of traditional old-time music.
