Beginning Harmonica I (Fall)

No musical background is necessary. If you can breathe, you can play harmonica. You will learn the essentials like playing a clean single note as well as some rhythmic breathing and chording. Students will also learn how to read harmonica tablature (tabs), which is a numbering system that makes it easy to learn new songs without having to read sheet music. By the end of the course, the students should be able to play some basic blues and folk riffs and chords.

*A key of G harmonica is required for this class. There are multiple options for purchasing, including Harmonicaland or Musician’s Friend. Use discount code STU! for 10% off all merchandise at Turtle Harp.
