Online Workshop 10/18: Fall Seasonal Songs (Fall)
*This class is on October 18th
Ruthanne will lead a kickoff workshop for the return of the Wheel of the Year singing classes, teaching songs from England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Scandinavia, the Isle of Man, Portugal, and Appalachia that celebrate the fall season, including the Harvest, Samhain, Halloween, and the beauty of autumn.
We’ll learn beautiful traditional songs and music from these regions in a comfortable Zoom format, along with the history and folklore behind each song. A songbook filled with music and lyrics will be provided to all participants before the workshop.
Welcome the fall season with festive songs, and make new friends along the way. Everyone is welcome — no special experience or skills are needed. Sing along, or simply sit back and enjoy these traditional seasonal folk songs.
This workshop will be held online via Zoom, and the link will be sent in your confirmation email. If you have any questions about the workshop, please contact Ruthanne at walesinthemorn@gmail.com.
