Carol Palmer is one of the original members and past Board member of the Pittsburgh Mandolin Orchestra, which was founded in 2002. She also directs the Riversong String Ensemble, where she plays mandolin, mandola, octave mandolin, bouzouki, violin, tenor and classical banjo.
